Victor Osimhen has been given the medical green light to return to training after spending two nights under observation at the cardiothoracic center of Monaco.
It will be recalled that the Nigeria international felt dizzy and complained of chest pain during the first half of Lille's 3-0 win against Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday, leading to his substitution in the 23rd minute.
There were initial fears that he suffered a cardiac problem, however, medical examinations conducted in Monaco did not reveal any anomalies.
According to French regional newspaper based in Lille, La Voix Du Nord, Osimhen flew to Lille late on Thursday afternoon, accompanied by Patrick Flamant, the doctor of Lille, who previously worked at AS Monaco.
Lille coach Christophe Galtier has a big decision to make, whether to include his top scorer on the roster for their next match at Monaco this Saturday and he is expected to monitor the Nigerian on Friday.
If Osimhen is not passed it to play against Monaco, former Chelsea star Loic Remy is likely to replace him in the starting line-up.
