Confirmed : Moroccan Club Moghreb Athletic de Tetouan Bring In Edjomariegwe
Published: July 13, 2019Nigerian striker Tony Edjomariegwe has switched clubs in Morocco after joining Moghreb Athlétic de Tétouan from Olympic Club de Safi.
Edjomariegwe is arriving Moghreb Athlétic de Tétouan as a free agent after he ran out of contract at the end of the 2018-2019 season.
He is the fourth player to be signed by Moghreb Athlétic de Tétouan in the summer transfer window after the capture of Spaniard Martin Bengoa, Abdul Wahid, and goalkeeper Mourad Izem.
The 26-year-old previously played for Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Professional Football League prior to his move to Morocco in January 2016.
Edjomariegwe was invited to the Super Eagles squad for the African Nations Cup qualifiers against Congo and South Africa in 2014.
Moghreb Athlétic de Tétouan finished 13th in the Botola Pro last season.
