Confirmed : Hugely Talented Striker Adebayo-Smith Goes Pro With Lincoln City
Published: June 30, 2019Talented Nigerian striker Jordan Adebayo-Smith has signed his first professional contract with EFL League One side Lincoln City.
The new deal inked by the East Soccer Base product keeps him at The Imps until at least the end of the 2020-2021 season.
The 18-year-old Adebayo-Smith made his professional debut in a Checkatrade Trophy tie at Accrington Stanley and spent a portion of last season on loan at Grantham Town.
Commenting on the new deal, the Lincoln City Academy Player of the Season said to the club's official website :“I feel like all my hard work so far is paying off.
“I have always wanted to be a professional footballer and I can take this as another push to drive me forward.

“Tom (Shaw, Academy Coach) was key in bringing me here. He has showed a lot of interest in me from the start, and has helped me develop my game to help me become a professional footballer.”
The uncapped Adebayo-Smith is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria, United States and England.
