Two Promising Nigerian Players Sign New Deals With Arsenal
Published: June 25, 2019Two promising Nigerian teenagers have inked new contracts with Arsenal ahead of the 2019-2020 season.
While Ejeheri is a goalkeeper, Oyegoke is predominantly deployed as a right-back.
The two players will be part of the Gunners scholarship intake for next season along with England U17 sensation of Nigerian descent Miguel Azeez.
Oyegoke made two appearances for Arsenal U18s in the U18 Premier League against Chelsea and Aston Villa as a schoolboy while Ejeheri has no appearances to his name.
The highly-rated central defender Mazeed Ogungbo is also eligible to sign a scholarship with Arsenal with effect from July 1.
They will play for Arsenal U18s in the new season.
