Exclusive: Huddersfield Town, Wolves Battling It Out For Lincoln City Precocious Talent Adebayo-Smith
Published: November 30, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Huddersfield Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers are exploring ways to sign Nigerian prodigy Jordan Adebayo-Smith ahead of the opening of the January transfer window.
Adebayo-Smith has been in blistering form since he teamed up with Lincoln City in August 2018, with the highlight of his performance being the hat-trick he scored against South Shields in the FA Youth Cup earlier this month.
Huddersfield Town and Wolves posted their scouts to run the rule over the Nigerian teenager in the second round tie at Sincil Bank and were pleased with the striker's all-round display.
The Terriers have been keeping tabs on Adebayo-Smith and have watched him a few times this season.
An unnamed Premier League club have already tabled a bid for his services in the winter transfer market and the Imps higher-ups are studying the proposal.
The lightning quick and very skillful striker with an eye for goal was linked with a move to Watford before joining Lincoln City.
Adebayo-Smith is eligible to represent Nigeria, United States and England at international level.
