Arsenal 1 Wolves 1 : Iwobi Struggles, Replaced At Half-Time
A late rally from Arsenal helped them to a 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Alex Iwobi, one of the starters against Sporting in midweek, took over from Henrikh Mkhitaryan on the right of Arsenal's three-man attacking midfield.

Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang retained their places, while Alexandre Lacazette was used through the middle.

Iwobi, brought back into the starting lineup today from the 1-1 draw with Liverpool, wanted a penalty after being clattered by Ryan Bennett in the box. Referee Stuart Attwell saw nothing in it, though, and a goal-kick was instead awarded.

Arsenal were punished by Wolves for their incredibly slow start as the visitors edged in front in the 13th minute.

Granit Xhaka was culpable, allowing a pass to run straight past him for Ivan Cavaleiro to pounce on. Cavaleiro exchanged passes with Raul Jimenez and tucked the ball past Bernd Leno from close range.

There was some piece of positivity from Arsenal down the right, culminating in Iwobi getting in behind, but the offside flag wrongly went up for offside as the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Wolves.

Wolverhampton Wanderers got us back underway at the Emirates Stadium, where there was news of a half-time change. Alex Iwobi was replaced by Matteo Guendouzi.

The good news for Arsenal fans was that their side created two chances. The bad news was that both of them were missed, including a sitter from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who flicked the ball against the post when picked out by Hector Bellerin in the middle.

Arsenal were back on level terms with just a few minutes to play here. Aaron Ramsey had a shot kept out by Rui Patricio but, from the resulting corner, the ball was worked to Henrikh Mkhitaryan and his intended cross went right the way through.
