Ex-Flying Eagles invitee Freddie Ladapo was the leading marksman across England's top four tiers for the month of October.
The Plymouth Argyle frontman was in storming form last month, netting six goals in as many games to place first ahead of more illustrious names such as Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Manchester United's Anthony Martial.
The Gabon international, who was named October's Premier League Player of the Month, scored 5 goals to place joint second along with Lukas Jutkiewicz (Birmigham City), Billy Sharp (Sheffield United) and Nicky Maynard (Bury).
Six players found the net four times including United's Martial, MK Don's Nigerian star Chuks Aneke, Lewis Grabban, Tom Eaves, Ashley Nadesan and Ian Henderson.
Ladapo’s run of six goals in October began with a headed goal against AFC Wimbledon before scoring against Burton Albion (2), Gillingham FC (2) and Scunthorpe United.
The former Crystal Palace man made his Premier League debut against Manchester United in September 2017.
