Chelsea's Moses Sees Handwriting On The Wall He's Not Wanted, Left In London For No Reason

Former Nigeria international Victor Moses was omitted from the Chelsea squad that traveled to Belarus for Thursday evening's Europa League game against BATE Borisov.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has named four wingers on the 20-man roster : Eden Hazard, Pedro, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian.

Marcos Alonso, David Luiz, Toni Rudiger and Alvaro Morata were presumably rested ahead of the upcoming Premier League game against Everton but the same cannot be said for Moses who has played only one of the last ten topflight games contested by The Blues.

Sarri,who replaced Antonio Conte this summer, prefers to set up his team in a 4-3-3 structure and that change in formation saw the 27-year-old Nigerian lose his place in the starting lineup.

Chelsea may decide to loan him out to a Premier League rival or permanently end their association with the right winger in the January transfer window and the likes of Manchester United, Wolves and Crystal Palace have been credited with an interest.

Moses joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in August 2012 and has made 128 appearances for the London club in all competitions, scoring 18 goals.
