Ola Aina's Brother Shines On Full Debut For Chelsea U18s Against Norwich
Published: September 29, 2018Ola Aina's sibling, Jordan, was impressive as Chelsea began the defense of their U18 Premier League Cup title with a 5-1 rout of Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
Jordan Aina finally made his full debut for the Blues at Cobham Training Centre after the defender was a non-playing substitute in three matches in the U18 Premier League against Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.
Thierno Ballo produced an individual display to score a hat-trick and put Chelsea 3-0 up at the break.
In the second half, Henry Lawrence increased Chelsea's lead, Thorvaldsson made it 4-1 from close range before Jon Russell closed the scoring with an unstoppable shot from 25 yards out.
Jordan Aina is one of Chelsea's academy scholars, along with the hugely talented Faustino Anjorin, signed on for the 2018-2019 campaign.
He made his international debut for England as their U16s beat Romania 3-1 in an international friendly in August 2016.
Andrew Omobamidele and Denzelle Olopade started for the Canaries U18 team in their loss to Chelsea.
