Two Players Of Nigerian Descent Included In West Ham Squad For SuperCupNI
Published: July 23, 2018Two players of Nigerian descent have been included in West Ham's squad for the 2018 Super Cup NI which begins in Northern Ireland on Monday morning.
According to the official website of the organizers, Pharrell Oseni and Lucas Lorenzo Kayode Oladejo-O'Gilvie have been named in the Hammers U13s traveling party.
The two youngsters will be hoping to get game time in West Ham's opening fixture in the Minor Section against Northern Irish club Portadown FC on Monday, starting from 1100 hours on pitch one.
West Ham will also face challenges from Coleraine FC Academy (July 24) and Dungannon Swifts (July 25).
On the basis of the points they accumulated in the group stage, the young Hammers will proceed to the semifinals of one of the following competitions : SuperCupNI, Globe, Vase.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that a top scout with close ties to the Nigerian Federation is monitoring the progress of Oseni and Oladejo-O'Gilvie at West Ham with a view to a call up to the Nigeria U15s.
