If Crooner Davido : Moses Introduced Me To Chelsea Players, Iwobi Good Player
Published: February 28, 2018David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has spoken of his relationship with Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses, and has predicted that the Super Eagles will do well at the 2018 World Cup.
It would be recalled that Davido was among the 41,513 spectators that witnessed the Premier League meeting between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on November 26, 2016, in which Moses netted the winning goal for the Blues.
''I went to the Chelsea game, that was amazing, Victor Moses took me into the locker room and I met all the players, It was amazing,'' Davido told Goal.com.
''Victor was basically saying, ‘you remember that song I played the other day? That was him from Nigeria’ I met them, I took a picture with them.''
On the chances of the Super Eagles at the World Cup, Davido said there are quality players in the squad including Arsenal's Iwobi : ''I mean that’s my country and I’m behind Nigeria 100% so I’d say we could go all the way.
''Anybody could go all the way if they put their mind to it, anything is possible. We’ve got good players too, we got Iwobi, we’ve got some strong men.''
Barring any last minute developments, Victor Moses and Iwobi will be called up to the Nigeria squad for the friendlies against Poland and Serbia next month.
