Breaking: CSKA Moscow's Samuel Completes Loan Move To Amkar Perm, Handed No 80 Kit
Published: February 22, 2018According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Nigeria international Aaron Samuel has completed his transfer to Premier League outfit Amkar Perm, few hours before the close of the Russian transfer window.
The young CSKA Moscow forward appended his signature to a four-month loan deal with Amkar Perm on Thursday morning after passing his medical with flying colours.
Samuel is targeting a return to the Super Eagles ahead of the 2018 World Cup which will be held in Russia, and hopes his performance for Amkar Perm in the second half of the season will attract the attention of manager Gernot Rohr.
The 23-year-old scored in two friendly matches against Montenegrin club FK Budućnost Podgorica and Alashkert FC whilst training with Amkar Perm in Turkey earlier this month.
For the remainder of the 2017-2018 season, he will wear the number eighty jersey at Amkar Perm.
Vålerenga, Sarpsborg 08 and Guangzhou R&F are the other clubs the striker has turned out for since departing the shores of this country in 2012.
He joins fellow Nigeria internationals Fegor Ogude and Brian Idowu at The Red and Blacks.
