Published: August 11, 2017Tottenham Hotspur fullback Danny Rose has landed in hot water in the wake of the interview he granted an English newspaper in which he criticized the club's transfer policy and ambition.

A remorseful Rose has released a statement through his intermediary Base Soccer stating : ''Having had time to consider my actions, I acknowledge now that the timing and manner of what I said was ill-judged.
''My words were not meant to offend and for that I would like to apologise to the chairman, manager, my team mates and the fans.
