Two Nigerian Wonderkids Shine As Manchester United Record 3-0 Win In Super CupNI
Published: July 24, 2017Manchester United U15 began their campaign in the prestigious 2017 SuperCupNI (formerly NI Milk Cup) with a convincing 3-0 rout of Colina (Chile) at Seahaven, Portstewart on Monday evening.
Two players of Nigerian descent Ademipo Odubeko and Shola Shoretire started the game for the young Red Devils.
Teden Mengi opened the scoring for United from the penalty spot in the tenth minute, Teden Mengi doubled the advantage before the interval.
Anthony Elanga added more gloss to the scoreline with his second of the game and Manchester United's third in the second half.
Ademipo Odubeko is a Republic of Ireland U15 international, and featured against Poland in a friendly last season.
In their next fixture, Odubeko and his teammates face Co Fermanagh on Tuesday, July 25.
