Nigerian Striker Who Scored 14 Goals In One Game, Arsenal & Liverpool Stars Named In England Squad
Published: July 14, 2017 Watford goal machine of Nigerian descent Rinsola Babajide has been included in England U19 roster for the 2017 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship that will take place in Northern Ireland (8–20 August).
The 19-year-old is among the five strikers that made the squad list announced by manager Mo Marley.
Arsenal duo Chloe Kelly and Taylor Hinds, and Liverpool wonderkid Niamh Charles have also been called up to the Young Lionesses squad.
England will face Italy, Netherlands and France in Group B of the U19 EURO, and begin their campaign against the Italians at Mourneview Park, Lurgan on August 8.
In 2016, Babajide dominated the headlines in Nigeria after netting fourteen goals while defending the colours of University of East London women’s football team against University College, London.
