Agent Reveals Nigeria U20 Star Okonkwo Will Not Depart Bologna In January
Published: January 01, 2017Orji Okonkwo’s intermediary Oliver Arthur has revealed that the Nigeria U20 international will remain a player of Bologna when the transfer window closes for business despite interest from elsewhere.
The offensive all-rounder is on the fringes of the first team of the The Red and Blues, and has recorded four appearances in the Italian Serie A to date, coming off the bench each time.
“I can say he will stay at Bologna, no doubt about it. There are calls for him, but will not change,” said Oliver Arthur to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“Until June he will remain. He wants to do well with this shirt and carve out his own space.”
Okonkwo penned a long-term deal with Bologna last summer.
