Official : Wolves Tie Down Nigeria GK Ikeme To New Deal
Published: December 29, 2016With a statement published on their official website, Wolves have announced that Super Eagles netminder Carl Ikeme has extended his contract with the Championship club.
Ikeme has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract, with a further year’s option in the club’s favour, which will keep him at Molineux Stadium until at least the end of the 2018-2019 season.
Aged 30, the Sutton Coldfield-born stopper has been on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers for the past fifteen years and progressed through the ranks before making his debut in August 2005.
Ikeme has had loan spells at Accrington Stanley, Stockport County, Charlton Athletic, Sheffield United , Queens Park Rangers, Leicester City , Middlesbrough and Doncaster Rovers.
