Italian Super Club Juventus Mulling Over Move For Mikel
Published: December 27, 2016Serie A champions Juventus are considering a move for Nigeria international John Obi Mikel in the winter transfer market.
Italian sports daily Tuttosport, widely regarded as the mouthpiece of Juventus, is reporting that the Chelsea midfielder has been offered to the Bianconeri, but added that the possibility of him joining the club is low despite his international experience.
Juventus can still register Mikel for the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League, assuming he is acquired.
Inter Milan, AC Milan, Valencia and Marseille have also been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old.
If his transfer to Juventus materializes, Mikel will join the talented Nigerian striker King Udoh, 19, on the books of the Old Lady.
