English-Born Nigerian Midfielder Plays Down PSG Link
Published: December 13, 2016English-born Nigerian midfielder Dele Alli has played down speculation linking him with a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain next summer.
There had been reports that PSG were willing to pay 50 million pounds to secure his signature from Tottenham Hotspur, but Alli has suggested that he has had no contact with the Ligue 1 moneybags.
“It’s all just rumours. I’ve just signed a new contract at Tottenham,” Dele Alli told Sky Sports.
“I’m happy here, and I couldn’t think of a better place to be at my age.”
In September, Alli penned a six-year contract which will see him remain at Spurs until the summer of 2022 if both parties honour the agreement.
