Ezekiel Bassey Proposed Move To West Ham On The Brink Of Collapse
Published: June 06, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Ezekiel Bassey’s proposed move to West Ham is on the brink of collapse, after he was first linked with the English Premier League side in January.
The Nigeria international recently sought permission from NPFL champions Enyimba to travel to London but his request was not granted, with the club reminding him of their participation in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Having said that, the Enyimba number six mailed West Ham, informing the Londoners of his plan to travel to the United Kingdom to take part in pre-season training but he is yet to receive their reply.
The 19-year-old Bassey joined Enyimba in 2015 from hometown club Akwa United.
He was due to train with the Hammers , with a view to signing for the club.
