Finidi George Plays For Ajax Amsterdam In Legends Game Vs Real Madrid
Published: June 05, 2016Retired Nigeria international Finidi George was in action on Sunday as Ajax Legends were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid Legends in the Corazón Classic Match 2016.
Finidi started the charity game held at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, wearing his favourite number seven jersey.
The Dutch team took the lead in the 14th minute when Seedorf, who played for Real Madrid Legends in the first half, scored an own goal, before Portugal legend Figo restored parity.
The Whites went 2-1 up in the 31st minute through McManaman and their third goal came from the boot of Butragueño.
Finidi George represented Ajax Amsterdam from 1993-1996 and helped the club qualify for two consecutive UEFA Champions League finals.
