Nigerian Strikers Sign First Professional Contracts With Tranmere Rovers
Published: June 03, 2016Nigerian starlets Tolani Omotola and Sam Ilesanmi have signed their first professional contracts with Tranmere Rovers, the National League club have announced through official sources.
At the end of the 2015-16 campaign, the two youngsters and Daren Askew were offered a one-year contract extension after starring for the youth team, and they have ended speculation about their future by putting pen to paper on the contract.
In his first words after signing the deal, Omotola told tranmererovers.co.uk : “It’s a great opportunity to show what I can do.
“Last season was a good season for the three of us and I’m really pleased to have signed my first professional contract.”
Ilesanmi added: “We need to keep working hard and see if we can make it into the first team.”
Tolani Omotola and Sam Ilesanmi are offensive players.
