Switzerland International Of Nigerian Descent Eseosa Aigbogun Joins 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam
Published: May 31, 2016German Women’s Bundesliga club 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam have strengthened their forward line ahead of the forthcoming season with the capture of the signature of the highly-rated Switzerland international Eseosa Aigbogun .
The 23-year-old began her career with the youth team of FC Dietikon, followed by a spell at FC Zurich before she was snapped up by FC Basel, where she remained before agreeing terms with 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam.
“I am going to play for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam next season, I have already signed for them, ” said Eseosa Aigbogun to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The contract is for two years, I have not been handed a jersey number yet. ”
Aigbogun was born in Switzerland to a Nigerian father and a Swiss mom and had pledged her international future to the Super Falcons before she was approached by the Swiss Football Association to represent her mother’s country.
She has scored at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and Women’s World Cup.
