CSKA Insist Leicester City Offered Less Than 30M Euros For Musa; Confirm High-Level Talks With English Club
Published: May 24, 2016CSKA manager Leonid Slutsky has confirmed that English champions Leicester City are holding high-level talks with the leadership of the Army Men over the transfer of Ahmed Musa this summer.
But the Russia coach has dismissed reports that the Foxes are willing to splash 30 million euros to land the signature of the Nigeria international.
“The British offered a bit less than 30 million euros. He (Musa) came a few days ago and asked when going for the holidays. I replied: “I do not know, I do not know Ranieri,” Slutsky said to matchtv.ru.
Asked to confirm or deny whether Leicester City have resumed talks, he replied : “I do not know for sure, it is the work of our management. But I think the probability is high. ”
The 23-year-old Ahmed Musa has been excused from the Super Eagles team that will face Mali on Friday by the Nigerian Federation so he attends Joseph Yobo’s testimonial .
