Nigerian Striker Olufela Olomola Pleased To Sign Two-Year Deal With Southampton
Published: May 20, 2016Nigerian striker Olufela Olomola is thrilled to have signed a two-year deal with Southampton ad has targeted a spot in the first team in the not too distant future.
Having skippered the Saints U18s team in the just concluded season, the former Arsenal starlet has now been promoted to the U21 squad ahead of the start of pre-season training.
“I’m not going to rest on my laurels. I’m going to look to improve and look to get better, ” Olomola told Southampton’s official website.
“My aim is not just to get a professional contract it’s to get into the first team so that’s what I want to reach.
“I’m delighted to be part of this amazing club. It’s a club that’s growing all the time and I’m just very happy to be a part of it.”
The 18-year-old Olufela Olomola made the bench for the Premier League clash between Southampton and Sunderland in March.
