Nigerian - Born Midfielder Appointed Coach Of English Club
Published: May 17, 2016Nigerian midfielder Peter Adeniyi has agreed to take over as coach of Ryman League Division One South club Carshalton Athletic for the 2016-2017 season.
Born in Ibadan, Adeniyi will fill the role vacated by Chris McGinn, who cited interference as the major reason he left the club in April.
The 36-year-old will take on the dual role as player-manager of the Robins for the upcoming season.
On his curriculum vitae, he has worn the jerseys of Erith Town, Dulwich, Eastleigh and Lewes.
Peter Adeniyi has also represented Beckenham Town and Bromley, and assisted Merstham win promotion at the end of the 2014-2015 season.
