Leicester City, Tottenham Target Musa Set For Talks With CSKA Over His Future
Published: May 17, 2016Nigeria national-teamer Ahmed Musa will sit down and talk about his future with CSKA Moscow at the end of this season, and remains focused on winning the Russian Premier League title with the capital team.
Speculations are rife at home and abroad that the pacy striker has more or less agreed terms with English Premier League champs Leicester City but the reports have been played down by a top source close to the player.
“It is not yet at that stage, there are a lot of rumours but Musa and CSKA are purely focused on winning the title and after that serious talks will begin with suitors ,” a source close to Musa told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Leicester City are reportedly frontrunners to sign the CSKA Moscow star this summer but face genuine competition from Tottenham Hotspur, who have an excellent relationship with his intermediary.
The 23-year-old netted his 18th goal of the season across all competitions on Monday against FK Krasnodar.
