Super Eagles Striker Chisom Chikatara Bemoans Penalty Miss
Published: May 16, 2016Chisom Chikatara has spoken of his frustration after missing an opportunity to score in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League clash between Abia Warriors and Rivers United.
The Super Eagles striker would have doubled the advantage for the home team in the second half but his spot kick was saved by goalkeeper Rotimi Sunday.
“I was over confident. I thought that I had scored already. That’s why I missed,” Chikatara said of his shocking effort from 12 yards.
