Reading And Robson-Kanu Part Company After Eleven Years
Published: May 09, 2016English Championship side Reading have revealed that they will not be offering a fresh contract to the Welsh international of Nigerian descent Hal Robson-Kanu.
The 26-year-old Robson-Kanu has been on the books of Reading for the past eleven years, having spent his formative years as a footballer with the youth team of Arsenal.
During his time with Reading, the attacking midfielder netted 30 goals in over 200 appearances for the club.
Robson-Kanu was farmed out on loan to Southend United and Swindon Town in 2008 and 2009 respectively to enable him play on a regular basis.
Born in Acton, England, he represented the England U19s and U20s before pledging his international future to Wales.
