Iwobi Nominated For Arsenal Goal Of The Month, Player Of The Month Awards
Published: March 24, 2016Nigeria international Alex Iwobi is one of the nominees for Arsenal Goal of the Month award for March 2016.
The Gunners revealed the nominees via their official webpage on Thursday, with strikes from Joel Campbel, Aaron Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez,Theo Walcott,Welbeck,Elneny and Giroud all in the running for the award.
Iwobi scored his maiden goal for Arsenal in their 2-0 win against Everton before the international break, racing into the box and slotting past the Toffees netminder in the 42nd minute.
The attacking midfielder has also been nominated for the Vitality Player of the Month award alongside Egypt star Elneny, Welbeck,Giroud ,Walcott,Joel Campbell, David Ospina and Alexis.
Iwobi is currently on international duty with Nigeria and could make his competitive debut for the Super Eagles this month.
