Alhaji Gero Hoping To Learn Something New Today From Everton
Published: March 23, 2016Former Flying Eagles striker Alhaji Gero has arrived in Liverpool with the östersunds FK squad ahead of Wednesday afternoon’s friendly against English Premier League side Everton.
Ahead of the start of the new season on Saturday April 2, Gero has posited that the test game will prepare the team adequately before they take on Hammarby.
“I am looking forward to meet Everton and to maybe learn something from them,” Gero said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I am ready to fight for my team as with any other games we have. We need to see this as any other game we have and not for who they are.
“ Everton have experienced players and it is a good test game for us to play against them.”
Gero penned a three-year contract with östersunds FK in January 2016 and scored on his debut against Levanger FK few days after he was unveiled.
