New York City Running The Rule Over Oguchi Onyewu
Published: May 26, 2015MLS outfit New York City is running the rule over former USA national - teamer Oguchi Onyewu with a view to a transfer in the near future.
The transfer window in the United States is closed for business, meaning the Yankee Stadium outfit can only sign the central defender as from July 8 if he impresses manager Jason Kries.
Last summer, Onyewu trained with DC United before agreeing terms with Championship side Charlton Athletic.
The 32 - year - old has played for clubs in France, Holland, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Spain and England.
He donned the colours of the USA at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup.
