Sports Minister Dr. Tammy Danagogo Condoles SWAN
Published: December 03, 2014The Sports Minister/Chairman, National Sports Commission, Dr. Tammy Danagogo has received with shock the news of the demise of one of their members, Mr. Ramsey Ugele who passed on in the early hours ofWednesday, December 3, 2014.
The Minister said that apart from being a vocal member of the Abuja SWAN, the late Ugele was one who helped the National Sports Commission to propagate its activities, stressing that he died at a period the commission needed him most to support its
programme of transforming the sports sector through grassroots development.
“The late Ugele was a very vibrant member of the Abuja SWAN who was dedicated to his duties and also supported the National Sports Commission with his reportage of our activities.
“ It is sad that he died at a time we needed him to help in propagating our grassroots development aimed at reviving sports in the country,” the Minister said.
The Minister wishes to commiserate with SWAN and the family of the late Ugele over the sad loss and prayed that God grants SWAN and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
