Osaguona Ighodaro Dismisses Link To Kelantan FA For The Umpteenth Time
Published: November 24, 2014Once again, Enugu Rangers striker Osaguona Ighodaro has distanced himself from reports linking him with a transfer to Malaysian side Kelantan FA.
Several media outlets in the Asian country have gone as far as announcing the transfer as a done deal, with his Wikipedia page updated to reflect that, but the Nigeria international has reiterated that the proposed move was fabricated.
“I am the one that the transfer concerns. I am not aware of Enugu Rangers discussing with this team (Kelantan). Even if negotiations are taking place as claimed, nobody can force me to move to Malaysia.
“I leave my future in the hands of God. Yes, I am traveling to join a new club, but it is not Malaysia,” says Osaguona Ighodaro to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Investigations by this website revealed that a Nigerian players manager is holding talks with Kelantan without the approval of Ighodaro.
According to the GM of Enugu Rangers, Paul Uzor, the Nigeria international is tied to the club for the next three years.
