Much Ado About Victor Moses : Swansea City File Complaint
Published: October 20, 2014Swansea City have filed a formal complaint complaining about the officiating in the eighth round of the English Premier League clash against Stoke City.
During the encounter at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday, there was an incident involving Super Eagles striker Victor Moses just before the end of the first half.
In the 43rd minute, Referee Michael Oliver awarded a penalty to Stoke City after the Chelsea loanee was challenged by Angel Rangel, which was seriously disputed by manager Garry Monk.
Sky Sports is reporting that Swansea City sent a letter of complaint which was received by the Premier League on Monday morning, and Mike Riley, the Referees chief, will have a chat with Monk in the coming days on the incident.
Stoke City won the tie 2 - 1, with Jonathan Walters netting the match winner in the 76th minute.
