Injured Victor Moses Trains Without Limitation, Eagles Practice Penalty Kicks
Published: June 28, 2014
The Super Eagles trained for the second consecutive day since their arrival in Brasilia on Friday evening.
Apart from Michael Babatunde who has been ruled out of action for the rest of the tournament as a result of a fractured wrist, all the remaining players were involved in the training session held at Centro de Capacitação Física dos Bombeiros de Brasília.
Chelsea loanee Victor Moses, who missed the Argentina tie, trained without any limitation today, raising suspicions that his absence in the last game was down to the tactical decision of manager Stephen Keshi and not as a result of injury.
It was a routine workout, with the players working with the ball, while the last 20 minutes were spent practicing penalty kicks.
Nigeria will attempt to qualify for the quarterfinals of the World Cup for the first time ever on Monday when the square off with France at Estádio Mané Garrincha at 1300 hours.
