Exclusive :Sanliurfaspor Saw Off Competition From Lierse,Mechelen To Sign Zenke
Published: February 04, 2014Turkish second - tier side Sanliurfaspor saw off competition from clubs in Belgium to land the signature of Simon Zenke, allnigeriasoccer.com has been specially informed by the player’s adviser.
Before the window shut on Monday, the 25 - year - old committed his future to Sanliurfaspor for the next 18 months after mutually terminating his contract with another First League team, Istanbul BB.
“Clubs in Belgium like Lierse and KV Mechelen wanted him. But he opted to stay in Turkey till the end of this season and make himself available in the summer.
“He cancelled his contract with Istanbul BB and went to Sanliurfaspor as a free agent,” says Ben Itorho to allnigeriasoccer.com.
