The 23 - year - old midfielder has been hunting for a new club since he unilaterally terminated his contract with Mersin Ä°dmanyurdu.
PAOK had been in the market for a defensive midfielder and just yesterday announced the acquisition of Bebras Natcho from Rubin Kazan.
According to the Sporting Director of the Black and Whites, the club will now turn their attention to the signing of a central defender and a striker in the nearest future.
There is a possibility that Lawal would sign for Real Betis if they fail to land N’Diaye from Sunderland.
