Deal Done : Carlton Cole Pens 18 - Month Contract With West Ham
Published: January 15, 2014Per a statement on the official website, West Ham has announced that Anglo - Nigerian striker Carlton Cole has signed a new 18 - month contract with the club.
The 30 - year - old signed a short term deal with the Hammers back in October which ran out on January 13.
But the experienced marksman has done enough to impress the technical bench having netted 4 goals in 11 English Premier League appearances.
A number of teams led by Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers had explored the possibility of signing Carlton Cole in the January transfer window before he decided to commit his future to West Ham.
Overall, Cole has netted 63 goals in 251 matches for the Londoners.
