Nigeria To Face Mexico
Published: January 10, 2014The Mexico Federation has confirmed that it has reached an agreement with its Nigerian counterpart to play a tune up game in the United States ahead of the mundial in Brazil.
The exhibition game against the Super Eagles will be staged during the next window for internationals, on March 5 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Nigeria has been drawn in Group F of the World Cup alongside South Americans Argentina, whose style of football is not alien to that of Mexico.
In four previous matches with the Super Eagles including the friendly last May, Tri Color has drawn three and managed only one win.
Mexico qualified for the World Cup after defeating New Zealand in the play off while Nigeria easily saw off Ethiopia.
