Published: January 06, 2014Per a statement on its official website, Danish Superliga side Brondby has announced that it has mutually terminated the contract binding the club with Nigerian attacker Oke Akpoveta.
22 - year - old Oke Akpoveta has taken the decision of Brondby to part company with him in good faith, stressing that had it not been for injury, he would have justified his ratings.
“Although it is a mutual agreement, it has not been easy for me to leave Brondby.
“I’ve been happy for the club and for my teammates that I will miss.
“I felt that I had a good start in the team, but unfortunately I was injured shortly after arrival.
“Now I need a fresh start with some more playing time, so I hope to find another club,” says Oke Akoveta to brondby.com.
