Sone Aluko Commits Future To Hull City
Published: January 03, 2014Nigeria international Sone Aluko has committed his future to Hull City after putting pen to paper on a fresh two - and - a - half year contract with the English Premier League side on Friday.
The new deal will see the 24 - year - old winger cum striker remain with the Tigers until the summer of 2016.
In his first words after appending his signature on the new contract, Aluko says he is delighted to finally end speculation surrounding his future.
“I’m happy to extend my stay here.
“I’ve said right from the beginning, when talk about a new deal first came about, that I was happy here.
“I also said that it might take time for the deal to happen and that is how it turned out.
“ Because it took a while, people started making a story out of it and were saying that I was going to this place or that place.
“That was always irrelevant,”Sone Aluko said to the official website, hullcitytigers.com
An Achilles injury has kept Sone Aluko on the sidelines since October 2013.
