FC Ural Striker Toto Tamuz Goes Awol
Published: December 19, 2013Russian Premier League side Ural has announced through a statement published on its official website that the club is unaware of the whereabouts of Israeli - Nigerian forward Toto Tamuz.
The relationship between manager Alexander Tarkhanov and Tamuz has been frosty in recent days, with both making unpalatable remarks about each other to the Press.
25 - year - old Tamuz became offended and has decided to quit the Yekaterinburg based outfit without slapping in an official transfer request.
“Currently Toto Tamuz is a player of FC Ural and there is no talk of early termination of the contract with us.
“Toto Tamuz refused to meet with the head coach Alexander Tarkhanov, abandonment of medical procedures with the doctors and left the location of the club.
“Currently FC Ural has no information on the whereabouts of a football player,” FC Ural stated.
So far, Toto Tamuz has made 7 appearances in the Russian Premier League, mainly as a substitute.
