Whistle-blowing: Supersport blogger Randa Andrew Caught Soliciting A Bribe From Zenke
Published: December 18, 2013Supersport freelancer Randa Andrew is enmeshed in a bribery scandal after he was caught red-handed soliciting a bribe from former Nigeria youth international Simon Zenke, who is currently on the books of Istanbul BB.
The quack journalist, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education Kontagora, is widely regarded as one of the most corrupt reporters in Nigeria, allnigeriasoccer.com can reveal.
It was learnt that Randa Andrew was cross with Simon Zenke after he did not pay him for a written publication, and demanded for a Western Union Money Transfer as the attacker failed to visit him at home to honor the past obligation.
Definitely one of the bad eggs in these parts, Randa Andrew is not new to controversies.
It is confirmed that he handles the publicity accounts/images of most of the footballers based in the Middle Belt as well as Academica midfielder John Ogu for a fee.
The crook was behind the fake quotes published by Supersport on the lack of match time of the Nigeria international.
John Ogu had to be summoned by Academica coach, Sérgio Conceição to explain his statements.
And he could have landed in hot soup and possibly slapped with a heavy fine but he revealed that there was no interview granted Nigeria media apart from Brila FM.
Randa Andrew is also an unlicensed agent involved in the selling of Nigerian players.
Recall in an earlier sting operation conducted by this portal, he asked for 15,000 euros as his share of agency commission to convince Sibi Gwar to test with Sanliurfaspor.
