Exclusive: Kelechi Osunwa Pens Two - Year Deal With BEC Tero Sasana
Published: December 17, 2013Thailand Premier League side BEC Tero Sasana have acquired the services of Nigerian striker Kelechi Osunwa on a two - year contract from Sudan powerhouse Al Merreikh.
To secure the signature of the 29 - year - old, the two - time Thailand champions beat off competition from the likes of Zamalek plus other teams in Africa and Asia.
“I have left Al Merreikh and signed a two - year deal with BEC Tero Sasana in Thailand after passing a medical.
“So many teams were interested in having me, I do not need to boast about it. I made my choice already.
“My priority was to leave Africa and that was the reason I did not sign for a team in Africa,” Kelechi Osunwa said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Kelechi Osunwa had his first training session with BEC Tero Sasana on Tuesday, December 17.
He has been handed the number 10 jersey for the 2014 season.
