Man City Star, Eden Dzeko Tips Bosnia For Knock Out Round
Published: December 07, 2013Undoubtedly the biggest star of Bosnian Football, Eden Dzeko has shared his thoughts and impressions on the World Cup draw which pitted his country in Group F alongside Argentina, Nigeria and Iran.
The Manchester City striker is confident that Bosnia will qualify from the group with favorites Argentina, but has admitted that Nigeria should be taken seriously.
“Draw it could be better, but could have been worse for us, so I am happy and satisfied.
“Our goal is placement in the next round, but we will see. About Iran and Nigeria, we will learn more as the World Cup gets closer, however, Argentina is the toughest opponent, and after that everything is possible ,” said Dzeko.
To qualify for the mundial, Bosnia Herzegovina topped European World Cup qualifying G ahead of Greece, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia and Liechtenstein.
