Super Eagles Face Argentina, Iran, Bosnia At World Cup
Published: December 06, 2013For the fourth time in five tournaments, Nigeria will trade tackles with South America powerhouse Argentina in the group stage of the Fifa World Cup following the draw held on Friday evening in Costa do Sauipe, Bahia.
Nigeria is in Group F alongside Argentina, Iran and debutant Bosnia Herzegovina.
The Super Eagles will debut in the competition against Iran in Curitiba on June 16.
Then, they confront Bosnia five days later before the eagerly anticipated meeting with Argentina on June 25 in Porto Alegre.
Cameroon is grouped with Brazil, Mexico and Croatia in Group A while the Black Stars of Ghana are in the so called group of death which contains Germany, USA and Portugal.
Ivory Coast will face Japan in their opening game of Group C hours after Colombia and Greece face off in Belo Horizonte .
North Africans Algeria will confront Belgium, Russia and Korea Republic in the first round.
