Official : Vincent Enyeama Extends Lille Contract
Published: December 06, 2013Vincent Enyeama has signed a new contract with Lille which would keep him in France until the summer of 2017, the official website of the Ligue 1 side is reporting.
On Friday, the Nigeria international put pen to paper on an additional two - year deal with Les Dogues.
Having kept 11 straight clean-sheets this season, Enyeama has proved to be one of the outstanding players at the club.
Speaking to the official website after the contract extension, the 31 - year - old said: “I am really happy to be part of this team and very happy to have signed this contract extension.
“I just want to continue to help the team in goals this season, but also to those that follow.”
He added : “In a word, I would say that this club is like my family, a place where I feel at home.
“A word to the fans? I love you all, thank you for your fantastic support everyday.”
The former Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv custodian joined Lille in the summer of 2011.
