Aalesund Reject Bid From Russia For Leke James
Published: December 03, 2013Norwegians Aalesund have rejected two undisclosed bids- a Russian club mentioned - for highly rated Nigerian striker Leke James , the electronic edition of Sunnmørsposten is reporting.
The Norwegian newspaper has suggested that the two interested suitors must come back with bags of money in their bid to lure the 21 - year - old from Color Line Stadion.
Under contract with AaFK until the end of the 2016 campaign, Leke James is valued in the region of 600,000 euros by transfer market experts.
Meanwhile, allnigeriasoccer.com has been specially informed that the future of Akeem Latifu may be settled as early as next week.
The former Flying Eagles fullback, originally a player of Hodd, spent half of the 2013 campaign on loan at AaFK and is thought to have impressed the leadership of the club.
But the treasury of AaFk is not balanced and they must seek alternative means of financing the deal if they are really interested in the acquisition of Akeem Latifu, who is regarded by experts as one of the best fullbacks in Norway.
