EXCLUSIVE: Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Ponder Move For Nigerian Ronaldo
Published: November 25, 2013Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Golden Eaglets invitee Theophilus Solomon, hailed as Nigerian Ronaldo, is hot topic in Italy and could quit Rijeka in the January transfer window.
The 17 - year - old was set to join Catania on a four - and - a - half - year contract in the winter market but the representatives of the winger failed to agree terms with the Serie A club.
But he has now emerged as a transfer target for AC Milan, Inter Milan, Cremonese, Livorno and Barcelona.
Solomon’s agent, Jairo Pachon will meet with him sometime this week to thrash out the offers on the table and to fashion out the way forward as negotiations are at a crucial stage.
It should be noted that Barcelona’s offer is subject to the Spanish club watching the youngster in a competitive game before deciding whether to offer him a contract.
Theophilus Solomon was in Italy with the first team of Rijeka during the international break but has since returned to Croatia.
